Disclaimer
SweetSeat is a decision-support tool
SweetSeat helps teachers organise classroom seating information and generate possible arrangements. It does not determine what is educationally, behaviourally, medically, psychologically or socially best for an individual student.
Teacher judgement remains essential
A seating plan should be reviewed by a teacher who knows the class and relevant school requirements. A high fit score means the plan satisfied more of the criteria represented in SweetSeat; it is not a guarantee that the plan is appropriate, safe or successful.
Competing requirements
Some seating requirements cannot be satisfied at the same time. SweetSeat may return a compromise, leave needs unmet or produce different arrangements that have similar fit. The Student Fit and Needs & Fit reporting tools are designed to make those compromises visible.
Do not replace required plans or processes
SweetSeat should not replace individual learning/support plans, medical or safety requirements, safeguarding processes, disability adjustments, behaviour-support processes, school policies or professional advice.
Data accuracy
SweetSeat can only work with the information entered by the user. Users should check class lists, room layouts, needs and exported results for accuracy.
No demo student is real
All people, names, relationships, needs and class details in the public Try Me demonstration are fictional. Any resemblance to real people is coincidental.
